Rendering of the future home of the

Contact us about how you can help us build!
Preserving the continuing history of
Merrick County and its people.
Just to let you all know what is going on with the Merrick County Historical Museum during this time of social distancing. I am working as usual, but we have canceled all meetings etc. for the time being. If you have questions, research requests or need something, just give me a call at the museum before you come by. We can probably help through email etc. We will keep you posted on any changes.
Something that I am having my kids do while at home is to start a journal/art project to chronicle these days and months ahead. I want them to have something to look back on and to share with future family and friends. Think about doing this yourself, or have your kids or grandkids create a record of this time for museums in the future.
Take comfort in history. We know people have gone through things like this before and came out on the other side. We are a living testimony to that! Stay strong.
Love to you all.
